Since 2011, International Justice Mission India has been working with the government to address human trafficking.

IJM India has collaborated with the government on Judicial Colloquiums, workshops & trainings for state and district government officials, public prosecutors and police officers as a response to invitations from the government. IJM India has also been a technical consultant for government surveys on bonded labour and other government livelihood projects.
