Training for public prosecutors and government officials, Odisha

National Law University of Odisha hosted a 3-day training program to train public prosecutors on the issue of human trafficking and the legal response to the same.

IJM along with Asian Human Rights Commission, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and other key government officials working on the issue of trafficking were the resource persons for the program.

Some of the key attendees and guests at the conference included: K. B. Singh, IPS, DGP, Odisha; Amrita Patel, Project Advisor of State Resource Centre for Women, Women and Child Development, Odisha; Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Member of State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Government of Jharkhand; and S. M. Farooque, Secretary, Fellowship, Odisha.
